10 Macro Friendly Foods For Fat Loss

The best way to build a meal plan that you will actually want to eat off of is to find high quality and nutritious swaps for the foods that you already love. These are some of my tried and true go to's with excellent macros that have helped me and my clients to be successful.
Taste counts for everything! I have personally tried all of these products and can't recommend them enough.

Joseph's Lavash Wraps - these are such a great swap for a traditional style wrap. They have 7 grams of protein and 80 calories so you can enjoy your favourite wraps while reaching your goals! I buy them from Low Carb Grocery and they are a staple.

2. Egg Whites - don't leave the grocery store without these! They are so versatile and found in a lot of my recipes. Add them to your regular egg- based breakfasts for a boost of protein in the morning without the higher fat content of egg yolk. If you want to try something different check out my recipe for egg white pizza. (Macros in that recipe are for the whole pizza!)

3. PEScience Protein Powder -there's a reason this is sold out locally a lot of the time. I love it for baking and for every day use. The flavours are the BEST out there! You can order direct from them here.
Just about all of my baking recipes contain a type of PEScience Protein Powder! They have a flavour for every mood.

4. Joseph's Pita - these are amazing and nothing says summer like a pita! You can also purchase these from Low Carb Grocery. You can get free shipping in Canada on all orders above $99!

5. 0% Greek Yogurt or Two Good Yogurt by Danone - you can get these at any grocery store. The possibilities are endless, greek yogurt is a wonderful high protein substitute in baking, sauces, dips and wonderful on it's own for a smoothie bowl or a night cap! You can top with splenda or your 0 cal sweetener of choice and berries or add even more protein with a sweeter protein powder.

6. Sugar Free & Fat Free Pudding Mix. My favourites are vanilla, chocolate & cheesecake. You can also find these locally but I tend to order them from Low Carb Grocery! They can be used as a base for a lot of desserts or keep it simple and make a protein pudding.

7. Steeves 0 calorie syrup - the best waffle hack you'll ever hear about! You can find
this at Walmart and Low Carb Grocery.

8. O'Doughs Bagels - buy these, you can thank me later! I love these as the base of my breakfast bagel, you can assemble them ahead of time to CRUSH your meal prep. They're also a great grab in the morning if you're running a bit behind.

9. Sweet Leaf - Sweet Drops Liquid Sweetener - Vanilla
I buy these from Save On Foods and they are a game changer. If you have a sweet tooth this is the one to buy!

10. Good Good Jam - this a no added sugar jam that is kid (and mom!) approved. I love it and there is a flavour for everyone. You can find it at most grocery stores in the Health Food Aisle.
